How To Do Agile Well

Agile is the latest corporate 'fad' that CEOs are insisting on.

According to a recent survey 51% of organisations implemented agile because the CEO said so, not because it added value to the way things get done!

In the wrong hands, agile will fail like all other delivery fads before it, but with a change in behaviours and a commitment to doing things differently, agile can work. In this energetic and informative speech, I'll tell you how you and your organisation can do it well!

Make Change Happen

Are you asking any of these questions?

  • How can I make change happen?

  • How can I get traction and make my mark?

  • How can I make a difference?

  • How can I stay grounded in the chaos of change?

  • How can I change how sh!t happens around here?

If so, then this session is for you.

Making change happen can be a difficult, lonely job. It can feel like being in a maze… wading through treacle. If you’re trying to drive change in your organisation, and you feel like a lone voice, then this session is for you.

I'll help you to:

  • Sharpen your focus

  • Amplify your voice

  • Play it a little less safe

  • Build your tribe

And get the traction on your change agenda that you’ve been looking for.

See you there!

Turning Good Ideas Into Serious Action

Getting sh!t done is hard enough for any organisation - between 60 and 90% of all strategy fails or isn’t executed.

When it comes to the public sector, the story gets worse. The good news is: it doesn’t need to be this hard. Moving from totally overwhelmed to awesomely impactful is possible, and a set of killer priorities is the first step.

Author of the brand new bible for public managers: From Strategy to Action: A Guide To Getting Sh!t Done In The Public Sector, Alicia McKay will run a high-energy, super-practical session on how to set serious priorities that drive meaningful, targeted action for you and your teams.

This session will be a godsend to frustrated and overwhelmed managers everywhere who need to get out of the weeds and start behaving more strategically – public and private sector alike.

From Enraging to Engaging: Together, Putting the Human into HR

In most organisations, the relationship between those in charge of people and culture, and other functions is a bit buggered. And being called Human Resources never helped right?!

Whilst dealing with HR can often be frustrating, it's important that everyone understands their role when it comes to the management and leadership of people and how they should be supported if the organisation is to achieve its targets. If we're to get sh!t done in our organisations, then both parties have a responsibility to keep things simple, build effective relationships and make decisions that staff can understand and get behind.

Initiatives, such as the annual engagement survey, shouldn't be a chance for enragement, but an opportunity to assess the relationships that we have and look for opportunities to make the future better, together.

Thank you to the good people at FIND RECRUITMENT for partnering with us on this event and allowing us to maximise the donation to charity.

If you're looking for an organisation with a good heart to help you fill a hole in your business, then give Find Recruitment a call.
